Viral Food Network TikTok’s/Collaborating with The Pioneer Woman
I have always loved Food Network! Who hasn’t? I remember after school, I would go to my Grandma’s and we would watch Rachael Ray all afternoon! A few years ago, I started doing impressions of Ina Garten (The Barefoot Contessa) for various comedic projects. I had put them all online but it wasn’t until March of this year that I had my first viral Barefoot Contessa TikTok. Since then, I’ve grown a following of Food Network comedy lovers with 31,000 followers on TikTok and 17,000 on Instagram and counting.
Since then, I’ve done Food Network impressions of Rachael Ray, Giada Di Laurentiis, Guy Fieri, Nigella Lawson, Alex Guarnaschelli, Rachael Ray and Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman). Then, something really exciting happened. Ree Drummond (celebrity chef, author, blogger and more) saw my videos, thought they were hilarious and started following me. Last month, I took a solo road trip around the country that I had been planning for months. I messaged Ree letting her know I’d be driving through her town of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, where she lives and films her hit Food Network show.
And she invited me to her ranch for us to meet! Not only did we have an awesome time getting to know each other (she is a SWEETHEART) and making each other laugh, but we decided to make a TikTok together where I’d impersonate her in her actual kitchen and she would walk in and catch me and hilarity would ensue. See below for the final product! The fans on her page and mine went wild that we got to hang out and for what a good sport she is. The story of our meeting was even picked up in People, The Today Show and more!
